Improve Chronic
Pelvic Pain Syndrome

MANSMATTERS has pioneered treatments for Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome, a non-bacterial condition which has baffled the medical profession for decades.

Using a combination of Extracorporeal Focused Shockwave Therapy (EFST), ElectroMagnetic Transduction Therapy (EMTT) and the TESLA Chair – Functional Magnetic Stimulation (FMS), we are able to stabilise and, in many cases, significantly reduce the symptoms experienced by sufferers, many whom have exhausted other treatment options.

A lifetime journey

For many men, Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CPPS) is a lifelong condition of urinary problems, acute pain, sexual difficulty, and embarrassment. It is a complex and multifactorial condition that can be aggravated by various factors, including:

  • Infections
  • Inflammation
  • Stress

  • Muscle tension
  • Nerve damage

In some cases, the condition may develop without an apparent cause, making it difficult to diagnose and treat.

What can aggravate the symptoms of CPPS?

There are many factors which contribute to a worsening of the symptoms.

At a simple level the prostate expands and presses on both the pelvic floor and the bladder when it becomes inflamed or enlarged, causing pain and discomfort. The gland produces some of the fluid in semen. This causes a combination of pain and signals that the body needs to urinate, even though the bladder may be empty.

This can be particularly distressing and can cause significant anxiety and significantly impact on a person's quality of life, disrupting their work, social life, and relationships. In addition, pain during sexual activity can lead to difficulties with intimacy and can strain relationships.

It's important to note that although CPPS can be challenging, it is a treatable condition, and many people are able to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life with a multidisciplinary approach and the right treatment plan.

Most of the patients we treat have endured a prolonged journey of medication, specialist physiotherapy, acupuncture, surgery and, much more, before visiting our clinic. While the symptoms are sometimes similar CPPS should not be confused with Hard Flaccid Syndrome.

Whilst we cannot guarantee miracles, many of our clients undergoing our medical protocol combined with lifestyle changes are able to live a more comfortable and, fulfilling lives.
